    Hi all,

I was wondering if anybody here has studied for this and is it worth going for? How important is it if one was looking for a job in trading or investment management etc.? Or if you know anything in general about it that isn't up on the website, please contribute!

Also, if anyone has the Official Training Manual from doing it and no longer needs it, please PM me! :)

    Thanks

    http://www.uksip.org/imc/index.html

It looks like its only a short course - about a month or two of self-study, but its suppose to be a good stepping stone to going on and doing doing the CFAs. Apparently you can do the exam any time you want too.

It looks expensive though, especially with the textbook costing around E200! Thats the main problem I have with it...

Don't know much about the cert you mention, but I used to work in back-office in an investment bank until recently. It was recommended to us to do IAQ's with these guys http://www.securities-institute.org.uk

They have a lot of courses on offer depending on what you're looking for.
