Rock Band!

    Get it! Get it as soon as possible, or at the very least, pre-order it the second the european date is announced. My copy from the States arrived at 10:30am this morning. I've only just stopped playing now. My back is aching, my foot is kinda sore, but I've never even come close to the levels of enjoyment I'm getting from this game. drums are outstanding, the guitar is great. The fun level, is indescribable, I've just stopped to eat now and I know I'm going to wolf down the food as fast as possible.

    GHIII looks like a PSone game next to it. Haven't come across a song I don't like so far. I could go on and on and on about how fantastic and near-perfect this game is, but my food is done so I won't!

    Its a pity the GHIII guitars don't work in rock band on the PS3.

    Rock band does look like a cracker of a game

    well all signs point to that they're working on it, so I'd imagine in a few weeks the GH III Les Paul will be compatible, and I may finally use the fecking thing again! Been playing the drums all day, they are fantastic. Have yet to unlock Timmy and The Lords of the Underworld though, I just want to do vocals on that track!

    Well it was a bit of a nightmare actually, I ordered it from EBGames.com on the 1st of September, then the day before the release date people on the Rock Band forums say their orders are changing to shipping. I kept checking my order status page and nothing. I emailed them asking what the situation was, and about 24 hours later they got back saying that my order was going through blah blah blah, the status changes to "usually ships in 24 hours", cue much excitement from me, followed ten minutes later by crushing disappointment as it changes to back-ordered. Seems they decided to ship all the US orders first, so people who ordered on the 28th of October were getting theirs before me while I had to wait for the next shipment, so I ended up having to go the eBay route and spend a bit extra. Luckily it got through customs without picking up a charge, which amazed me and my postman as I got caught with Guitar Hero III a month earlier. So it cost me about 60 euro more than if I waited till it came out here, but if I break that down by week, it works out that I'm paying about a fiver a week to have it early, and it is soooo worth it.
