its something nobody knows about until you try play online..... DMZ's/NAT's/Ports etc.......

are there these problems with the XBOX?....

page after page on forums from posters asking ''how do i get my NAT to 2 from 3'' why arent these capabilites built into the system or at least a dedicated website from sony to help you through it?

now ive came across the problem getting COD 4 online working properly, seems that there no definitive way, post after post off ''it says here to....'' why is there problems with COD and not Las Vegas?.... can the makers of COD not sort this out themselves instead of leaving it down to gamers?

In fairness, they can't know how everyone's system is set up. What might suit you, may not suit everyone else. CoDs problem is with their servers not being able to take the strain, so I've read.

these problems can also be with xbox live, although it seems there is not as many requests to change settings etc. Maybe it is because the info is earier to get for xbox people because of the bigger comunity.

Also since live is a closed system, the live code is usually a bit better, and people who have restricted NATs etc get blocked from hosting some games as far as I know(I think I heard this on a majornelson blog)
