Word document saved to temp Content.IE5 folder - how to search for it?

    Hi,

I opened a word file from a web based email service and edited it considerably. Then I saved it - unfortunately in the temporary folder not in my documents. Is there any way of searching the 20+ folders with bizarre names that are in the Content.IE5 folder to get it back?

    Thanks

Find the original document online, open it and then save as. This will tell you the directory the file was saved in.

Find the original document online, open it and then save as. This will tell you the directory the file was saved in.

...you should then find that the new doc is named 'newdoc(1).doc' and the original is named 'newdoc.doc'.
