Not sure if this is the right forum but im certain all regulars of here have been in one at one time or another.
Anyway...heading to a pub quiz tonight, any suggestions for a good team name??
something witty/funny with a movie theme. or just something topical would do either.

Does anyone like Mary Harney's Mammogram Results?!;)

That particular name/topic is poor taste tbh.

What's wrong with teh classic 'Yore Ma' ?

Always gets a giggle when the scores are announced
"Yore Ma is in the lead with 24 points"
"After 7 rounds, Yore Ma is trailing badly"
"Following a poor showing in the Politics round, Yore Ma is now last"

    Nice Brother.

He could even considering writing it as 'Yorema' or 'Yorreemaaah' so whoever is doing the announcing stops, squints, and say's it very slowly in a quizicle manner.

    Yorremaaaah?!' has 24 points. etc

yeah, yore ma would be a good name "and yore ma comes last"

Once again Yore Ma has failed to score any points and is trailing the pack miserably out of touch.

Yore Ma will not be troubling the top teams in tonight's competition.

Propping up the table tonight is Yore Ma.

Yore Ma is on target to get the booby prize.

Sadly it looks like Yore Ma has failed to secure a place in the next round of this competition.

And finally ... a big hand, for Yore Ma.

I could do this all night ..... just like Yore Ma

Edit: it seems "Yore ma" is good for all types of different events! :D

Haha, I like Norfolk 'n' Chance

We were in one a couple of months ago hosted by Jimmy Magee so a little brown-nosing to get in with the host was in order. The Jimmy Magee fan club. Also, one of the female members kept putting little lovehearts and I love you Jimmy notes on our answer sheet.

    We won! :D
