Wii - Shooter, need help choosing

Growing up I was always a huge fan og shooting games, remember Goldeneye on N64, the daddy of the multiplayer. In the arcade, the rail shooters were also my fav, and it was by a long way. The Wii has the potential to bring these two styles together.

Time Crisis was pretty good, I remember playing another game where instead of a duck.cover pedal like in TC, the players physical movement translated to the screen, does that make sense?
If you lean right, the character leans right and covers, it adds a huge dimesion to the game. Similar control is used in WiiSports boxing and this could easily be translated to a shooter.

Anyway, I have decided to get at least one shooting game at christmas,
But i'm getting very mixed reviews from available titles,
What are the options and what is likely to be the best choice.
So far I am aware of:

    Links Crossbow Training
    House of the Dead :
    Ghost Squad
    Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicle
    Medal of Honor Heroes 2

Are they other titles I should consider, also is there any multiplayer (vrs or co-op) format available?

Unless ur a big RES fan (like me) I would avoid Umbrela Chronicles and go for MOH mainly due to the fact the reviews have been decent and it supports 32 player online.

    The rest seem to be....meh

I was kinda ruling out RE:UC as the reviews hadn't been great and I wouldn't be a huge fan, also the lil' bro plays a bit and I prefere a game that would be suitable for him to get at christmas, i'll get my own once better games are out.

I heard Links crossbow, was a little short, I have twillight princess, and liked it, does the training come close or stand alone as a good game.

You should try Metroid Prime 3, excellent game.

Don't know much about Crossbow Training although even for a Zelda title the reviews are poor, can't imagine it being up to much.

Im sure MOH would suit you both, especially if your wii's online

MOH Heroes 2 is like a chunkier version of the normal next gen titles, it is better, by far, than MOH Vanguard.
RES Umbrella Chronicles is excellent, and will be all the better with the release soon of the Wii zapper.
Ghost Squad feels a little too much like a PSone game for my liking.

Metroid Prime 3 Corruption = Gaming Goodness

Is there any scope for use of the wii zapper with Metroid?

I think i'll be going for the separate gun and nuncuk (sp?) type zapper

I wouldn't say that using the zapper with Metroid would be feasable, as you need to access the buttons on the top of the remote, and the zapper is really only useful when you only need the b button and the C/Z buttons/thumbstick on the nunchuck
