Oh god. Thats pretty unfortunate... But what kind of tattoo artist would do somebody when their drunk?

The obvious question too is, is it any good? :D

your not meant to get a tattoo whole drunk because alcohol thins the blood, however i would like to see a pic!

Water thins the blood too.. Not sure about that whole alcohol thing actually at all. Yeah I'm sure its not good for your tattoo, but thinning the blood? Surely due to the diuretic effect of it, it does infact 'thicken' the blood due to the loss of water. Am I completely off my rocker here? :(

Nope, alchohol is a blood thinner, which is why it makes you dizzy. Here's a source. It also causes an increased risk of stupidity which is why friends don't let friends drink and ink, and any artist who tattoos an inebriated person is very very dodgy indeed.

When I seen the title I thought it was a joke but wtf!!! Where the hell did this happen that an artist tattoed her while pished!!!
    Alco does thin the blood...
I'm still stuck back on the drunk tattoing thing...let alone the bertie bit!

I wonder do they tattoo with a piercing gun dipped in ink? Considering some of the things they use that gun for, it wouldn't surprise me!

wouldn't suprise me if it was that dodge little tatto place in temple bar...over...round the TBMC region...get a creepy feeling everytime I walk past it...

    Corrected for you.

For all we know (and HOPE!!!!) it wasn't in Ireland, so lets wait until the OP gives a bit more detail on the matter before we land ourselves in deep-doo-doo by saying something about somewhere.

Kinda baffled (and suspecting BS, sorry OP if you're genuine) by this too for the simple fact that how many studios would have an image of Bertie on hand should someone walk in off the street seeking a tattoo of the lad? It's not like he's by any means an even remotely common choice afterall, and if the artist was good enough to do a freehand from a newspaper picture or even from memory but STUPID enough to tattoo someone who was completely plastered drunk I'd be quite appalled.

I'm still keeping "Drugáil Saor" for my stupidest tattoo of the year nomination though...;)

F**k it, if someone pays for it I'll get a bertie tattoo, has to be a good one though

Soundman I refuse to refer to it as the button factory, it will always be the temple bar music centre to me.

Wil, not making accusations, just that the place creeps me out, and it wouldn't suprise me...

Why wouldn't it surprise you? Because you get the creeps passing it for no good reason? Because you're judging them based on no facts?

I'd prefer not to mention where she got it, hes a friend of ours and he has apologised for taking advantage of her being drunk to tattoo that jackass on her arm, think carefully about it, I mean its a big step he he

I think I could honestly say that if someone tattooed Bertie Ahern on me while I was pissed, an apology wouldn't cut it. But maybe that's just me...

Right missus, until you do start referring to it by its new name, you are barred from the premises. You deeply hurt its feelings now. :p

    How about simply:
    Bertie says "Tanks".
