airsoft in sligo

just thought i would throw this out. i was wondering if there is anyone playing or interested in playing airsoft in sligo i'm from there myself but currently living in dublin, tho i tend to travel up and down from there quite a bit. so if anyone from there is interest in finding a place to train and skirmish let me know

yes there is i'm trying to see who i can get together but there will definatly be interest i find airsoft to be contagious so just encourage yer matres
unfortunatly this is the busiest time of the year for me so i've little time but christmas is coming...

Longford is the nearest (& greatest) site but we'll probably get a field just out the N4 for a bit of practice etc.

i haven't been to longford yet
i'd love it if ye got a field on the n4 organised but ye have to come down to gtac its a two hour drive from the town but its well worth it

Longford is closer plus based on what 'some lads' were saying Longford is a better site.

Sounds great, you thinking of starting a business out of it? Tell me if you get it, it's hard to find people who have heard of airsoft, let alone spend hundreds on it.

Me from sligo, about 4-6 of us will be going to the gathering 2, just getting our gear sorted out. We go up my cousins field in the mean time out around the lake.

hi lads i was bored on boards.ie one night and started looking at the arcives so i looked up sligo airsoft to see if there was any airsoft in my area in the past. To my surprise i found alot of threads about is there any other airsofters in sligo, like this one and other threads going on about how they wish an airsoft site would open in sligo or closer so u would not have to travel so far just to play. Then guest what happened not only did an airsoft site open but 1 of the best woodland sites in the country open just under a year ago , which is ran by sound lad and the players are great honourable and fun to play with. And lads after all your posts about airsoft in sligo 1 or 2 of u have barly come out a handfull of times and the rest of u I have never seen or heard being out.To be totally honest dudes it is strange as hell how u are not taking advantage of whats right outside ur back door

Except u jinko I think we have shot each other enough over the past year oh wait a minute no i havent. Remember all support ur local airsoft sites or u will lose them and play with honour
