    Just a quick one. Stocked up on yankee candle at Barna Gifts in Galway yesterday. They've 20% off all their jars. Christmas sorted!!

    Thats a good deal alright - you hardly ever see discounts the rest of the year on these.

    BTW - noticed a stand in Dunnes the other day for their own "Simply Home" brand called - wait for it - "Yankee Candle"! :)

    It was about €18 for the large size (the corresponding official Yankee Candle price is about €27).

    The candles in Dunnes are the real thing - same as the ones everywhere else and a wee bit cheaper. (maybe they had a second brand as well ???)

    They are also in Easons and they had a promotion on some on them a few weeks ago (2 of the big red jars for price of one)

    I love the smell of them.

    My mum got one of those in Dunnes alright. Said they were OK, not as strong as the real thing with only a couple of varieties supposedly. And easons's ones are all end of line scents that she saw normal candle shops clearing last year..... lets just say she's a bit fanatical about candles! Thats whats in Galway easons anyway? I'd about 50 scents in Barna Gifts to get my nostrils around :eek:.Don't think they've a website to give ye a link. They're at the end of Shop street
