Gas valves on TM Desert Eagle GBB hard kick

Hi lookin for some help got a hi-flow valve for my DE and am having problems fitting it can anyone give me a hand? Also does anyone know if it is possible to get a metal frame and slide in the chrome finish?

er ... a high flow valve? Wont that push it above 328 feet per second?

It already does around 320 with 0.2g.

it does 300, 10 percent increase so jus over by bout 2fps

people on here will be very reluctant to help you if your knowingly upping the power of your gun over the legal limit weather it be by 2fps or 200., its a pretty decent pistol to begin with, id just leave it as it is if i was you., maybe do cosmetic stuff., at least it wont get you in any trouble that way.,

first of all, over the limit, is over the limit - end of!

second, what's the point of a pistol with over 320fps anyway???

even 280 is enough to give you an effective range of about 15-20 meters - which to be honest, is well beyond the typical ranges you'll use a pistol at anyways...

It may or may not but what it will do is reduce the operating lifespan of the pistol. A 6.01mm tightbore barrel would be a better choice.

Two questions;
A. Do you have a firearms license?
B. Have you got somewhere other then a skirmish site to shoot it?

If the answer to A is "No" then you will have an illegal firearm. Regardless of how 'just over the limit' it is. Case in point, try telling the judge that you were 'just over the limit' when you were stopped for a breath test. See how far that logic gets you.

B. Because it's over 1J you won't be allowed to skirmish it. I'd guess (and don't take this as anyone's opinion other then mine) that skirmish sites will be stressing safety and compliency more stringently in light of the current spate of bad press that the sport is getting.
The last thing anyone wants to see is little Jimmy showing up in A&E because some clever dick wanted an extra 5M range.

Hmmmm... sticky situation here, in some pistols a high flow valve will not push you over the limit, but in others, it will... but then again it also depends on what gas your using aswell....

As it seems a high flow in a Desert Eagle Hard Kick will go over 1 Joule, then i'm afraid ill have to lock this thread.
