Went to Graspop last year in Belgium, and I gotta say it was prob the best 3 days of my life...ever.

It combined all of my favourite things like metal, drinking, ****-talkin with strangers, mosh pits etc. To the extent that I'm prob gonna just do Download, Graspop AND Wacken next summer as my holiers.

Anyone been to any of these? N just how awesome are they?

Really wanna hear any ridiculous stories, f**k knows I have my fair share from jus that weekend

    kisses

Wacken is excellent. Really well structured and a nice place, with good food and good beer. Going back this year methinks.

I did Download this year and its was the best 5 days ever. Saw some great bands (and some rubbish ones too), the atmosphere is brilliant around the campsites and there's plenty to do apart from the music. Definitely heading back next year.

Was thinking of doing another festie too if the finances allow me. I'm waiting to see if RATM are doing Reading and if they are I'm off to that. Other than that, a mate was on to me about heading to another Belgian festival, Rock Werchter (Only something like €160 for a 4-day camping ticket). Its not a complete rock/metal fest though, caters for many different genres.

I remember at Download, it was the last night (Sunday) and my mate wasnt well. So I had loads of beer to get rid of. Then I met up with a big group of English folk and we all went and got hammered. Arrived back at teh tent at 8.30am, locked. MY mate reminds me that we've to be out of the campsite by 12pm. So 2 hours later Im conked out and he'd throwing all sorts of **** at me to try wake me but to no avail. Eventually he woke me and I got up, it was 10am and I was still wasted. Went running around teh campsite laughing and jumping face first on all the air-beds that were left behind. Great laugh it was.

Wow I just realised that story is not very exciting at all, but other more sxciting stuff happened that I cant think of right now...
