Hi,

I have recently purchased a Philips HDD DVD (DVDR3595H/05) recorder and 32'' tv. It is for my bedroom, and I was thinking of buying some surround sound to complement them.

I admit ignorence when it comes to this. Can people suggest a suitable surround sound/sub system for my player and tv??

Also, should I be getting an amp? Sorry for sounding so stupid but I'd love to get my room set up with great sound.....

My budget is from about €300 to €500, well a bit less than that, but I can starve for a while.

All sugestions and advise welcome.
