Here are the nominations for General Poker Website of the Year: Get your Vote in now. This Poll will remain open until 13:00 on Friday 30th November 2007.

I missed the deadline by 2 hours, so I'll allow in the late nominees. And here are the websites nominated:

    2+2
    Pokertube
    Poker News
    ForumSuperstars
    Poker.ie
    Pocket Fives
    Cardrunners
88Percent - I've allowed this in here, because it won't qualify for boards Blogger of the year and was nominated.
CasinoShop.ie - Only allowed because it was seconded by Mellor
    BonusWhores

    EXCLUDED:
Leggo Poker - Only started in Oct. - Nov 2007
www.badbeat.com - Seems to be a Poker Room and hence not a part of this catagory.
www.boards.ie - it'd be a bit pointless including us in the Poll, it's the boards.ie Poker forum awards.
www.starpoker.com - funny and all but I'm not allowing it in... :(
    www.glowingmindpoker.tk - em well obviously....
pokerbay - not worth the hassle of having it in. So I'll leave it out.

how can LeggoPoker be included? it was launched this month. Also, whats the difference between pokertube and pokerbay in terms of hassle?

Well Poker tube has permission to post up all the clips they do. Pokerbay don't. That's the difference. AFAIK: Anyone who knows differently please let my know ASAP!!!

And in relation to Leggo Poker, I had never heard of it, it was nominated so I put it up, however, if it was only launched a month ago, then I will take it off the list. I shall check that out now.

And glowingwind, I was bribed by the other 11 candidates to exclude your site. My apologies, but they made me an offer I couldn't refuse.

EDIT: I have had a look at the forums of Leggo Poker and it does seem that it was only just launched, hence I have excluded it. Thanks Valor.

how can casinoshop.ie be included in the same section as pokertube:confused: One provides products and the other is a service. Totally un-related. If casinoshop.ie doesn't get many votes it may give a negative impression. Maybe you should have a separate award for Casino/Home poker suppliers...

Casino shop were nominated, albeit by the owners, and then seconded, so they went in.

Also bump.... 1 day left for voting

If there is a poll for casino/poker suppliers then that would be a little ridiculous imo.

Also, Ste, it might be an idea to make these polls ones with expiry dates in order to make sure they finish when they are due to. It might make a difference in some of the tighter ones.

Yeah I will after the last one's mishap, (I was sick FFS, god you lads are slave drivers!! :D) but thus far I've always made it a point to get to a computer at 1 on the days needed, except when I'm dying in bed .
