UPC news server problem

Today I've been unable to post to newsgroups using the news.upc.ie news server. Incoming is okay. The message my newsreader gives me is:

The news server refused to post the article. Either the server does not allow posting or the selected newsgroup is moderated.

Anyone else seeing the same?

Seeing as you know about the news group, do you know anything about the webspace that you are supposed to get with NTL ?? Do you know how you access it?

And for ftp try:

server: upload.ntlworld.ie
username: your username
password: your password

Did you put your own username in?

The page does not even come up , it just gives me " 404 this webpage cannot be found" .

You have to enter your own username in the URL. If, for example your UPC username is "christo123", you'd enter:

http://members.upc.ie/christo123/

If you're still getting a 404 then your username is wrong (UPC changed my username without telling me when NTL became UPC).
