    Ok starter for 10...

Would you learn Irish if you thought it would get you anywhere with Mz Ni Bheolain?

I'm worried about saying yes. There's gotta be a trick of some sort in there.

I reckon you could get plenty off her just by singing that Ritchie Kavanagh song at her.

The Irish TV Channels seem to make more of an effort to hire attractive Irish speakers (very short supply, I know), these days.

Sharon reminds me of a Young Pegg Sayers.

No, but i would learn italian to get monica belluci or french to get any hot french celebrity vixen.

But sharon, no. Her name is Sharon afterall.

Me thinks perhaps you have not dated any french ladies.

Learn Irish just to impress some 40yr milf, too much effort.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,766 ✭✭✭Reku

Considering I'm not sure who she is and so haven't the foggiest as to if she's an interesting person or one who'd just bore me to tears I'm afraid no, I'll just stick with whatever Irish I still know from school.

How about if she was the one teaching you the Irish like she used to in my old school before she joined the tv ranks?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 615 ✭✭✭walt0r

I've scored way better. She's overrated.

Ok here is the whole Sharon issue sorted:

    You: Conas ata tu Sharon?
    Sharon: ta me go maith
You: Ceart go leor...... An mhaith leat dul go dti mo leaba?
    Sharon: Sea

    thats all you need

Thankfully due to the constant abuse of Catholic Nuns my brain refused to learn any Irish.

I would just rely on shouting very loudly.

'Get your coat, you are pulled'

    She's not all that.

I'd prefer Siún Nic Gearailt myself but I'd try a cupla focail on her: "Siún, a mhaith leat sex a have?" I think she'd be charmed by my pidgin Irish and offer to teach me more back at her place.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,570 ✭✭✭Ulysses Gaze

Grainne Seioge or Aoife ni Thuairisg are better looking (and more likely to get me to learn Irish to score them :D)

Although I'd certainly learn French to pull...

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 226 ✭✭SlinkyToo

She isnt all that, but I wouldnt kick her out of bed for booking us on a vacation to the Gaeltacht.

Where did everyone find that french newsreader?? and why is she so popular, she looks like she's made of plasticine.

As for Sharon... ah she's alright, but she's no weathergirl from sky news. Lisa something or other.

I was not made aware of this e mail. Google images has revealed her to look better than in ulyssesgaze's picture. far better.

would you say she would be impressed enough to take her knickers off though?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 226 ✭✭SlinkyToo

You mean Lisa Burke? She is quite tidy but she does that sideways head talking thing, so annoying.

Sian Williams on the BBC - now there is a MILF who is up for it. She had an affair with a BBC director, got pregnant and then divorced. Very Classy.

she was my irish teacher for a while back in the day, so techically i didn't have a choice, although it was the only class where there was a rush for the seats at the front

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,194 ✭✭✭Trojan911

    Already here
    And as recent as here

But I wouldn't be learning Irish for her attentions. She will have to take up shooting for mine.... ;)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 615 ✭✭✭walt0r

Ah let's not get carried away guys. She's far, far hotter than Gráinne. Gráinne is the most overrated woman on Irish TV.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 10,921 ✭✭✭✭Pigman II

No. I won't change for any woman.

You need to request access first, I'm too new for that, you have to have 50 posts and be here over a month then request to join. So you should qualify

If you've already done that then they probably figured out you're a woman and gave you the boot!

Now back on topic before I get banned: Can Sharon post in the soccer forum?

sharon is an amazing woman, she was me next door neighbour for 8 months, twas a pleasure to see her nearly every day in the flesh!!

in my opinion, herself and rosanna davidson are the 2 finest burds in the public eye, in ireland.

she's a newsreader on rte who became the subject of lust for irish men deprived of women informing them of disasters who aren't old and ugly. like anne doyle.

as for being a hammerette... its better than spurs i guess! (I'm a Gooner)

Now get back on topic before terry gets here!

The Americans are forever repeating this absolute lie, and now it's got to the point where people are obviously believing it. I've lived in France. Trust me, this is not true.

Although I'd certainly learn French to pull...

Ahhhh, Melissa Theuriau! I texted Ross O'Carroll-Kelly in the Tribune once and got him to print a picture of Melissa.

Anyone who's not convinced, look her up on YouTube... still pictures don't do her justice. Seeing and hearing her speak French (a language that actually requires you to pout!) is enough to put a wood on a corpse!

    Sharon Ní Bheoláin
    Suin Nic Gearailt
    Aoife Ní Thuairisg
    Grainne agus Síle
    The Paisean Faisean Girls

They are all fine women and we have to admit it.

There's something definitely in the air in the gaeltachts :p

The attraction is merely that we don't have a clue what they're saying and can therefore fill in the blanks ourselves with our own lurid imagination. Sile Seoige is far more attractive As Gaeilge as opposed to in english. Believe me I have done countless hours research on the subject.

In English she sounds like a an disgruntled RTE newsreader disgusted at having to do a report on some tidy town competion. However, once she switches tongues and I don't know wtf she's going on about (it could even be the same tidy town competion) every sentences becomes:

"Oh hi there. I didn't hear you come in. Have a drink while I go change into something more comfortable"

If you're concerned about what she sounds like then you have missed the point completely.

Yeah fair enough, I would alright. But her voice can irritate me, sometimes it's like she's got something caught in her throat.

Hmm, Lisa Burke... I probably would! But she's a bit "upper class" like.

I just realised the Sharon reminds me of Avril Lavigne, especially with the panda eyes makeup she wears.

    Now there is a thought
