    Hi,

(looked for similar thread but couldnt find one)

Heading to liverpool in a few weeks for a football game and looking to get some recommendations on:

    a) Accommodation ( Have booked the Premier Travel Inn near Albert dock - anyone stayed here before?)

    b) Good pub/club/restaurant recommendations?

    c) What to see / do in the city? We have 2 full non-match days and I dont want to spend them just plodding around the shops.

    d) Anfield Stadium tour? Worth doing? How do I get tickets? Anything else LFC related I should look into?

    Thanks

Check out the tate museum in Albert dock, then there’s the beetles museum, theres also an lifeboat museum around the same area, theres a good GAP shop in the city centre and also, the disney shop for pressies.

Havent been to the stadium tour, but I heard its very good.

Aye and pick up a book on how to speak scouse.

O'Neils is very good, and the pub grub is excellent.

anfield tour, you need to book and its not on the days of the match. the official site is the easiest way.
