baritone guitars

I played a danelectro baritone guitar recently & it was lovely.
I was surprised at how nice it was to fingerpick on, and it sounded great.
The lower tuning on the strings makes travis style picking sound especially good.

Unfortunately the guitar was in London & insanely priced so I didn't go for it.
I knew there was one for sale on adverts so I put a bid on that instead. The guitar had already been sold offline, so now I'm looking to find another baritone.

Any suggestions? The danelectro model I liked so much is not being made anymore, so I have to look elsewhere. I really don't like the look/shape of the danelectro longhorn, so I'm hoping to find something else.

It's fingerpicking I'm mainly interested in it for, rather than chugging rhythm or twangy lead.

I'd suggest you try Ebay for the one you wanted. Fender do some baritone models as well, but I'm not sure where they're available.

Yeah - I have the normal, non baritone, version of that guitar so I'm looking for something a little different. It's a nice guitar though!
