Job on the Road

I have 7+ years of experience in the Financial Services sector (hedge fund admin & customer support), earning approx 53k p/a, but I've had enough, I'm just not meant for an office job. I like the idea of getting out on the road, maybe supporting clients, demonstrating products / services (have some experience of this in my current job). I'm not sure where to begin looking, I've looked at the usual suspects (irishjobs, monster etc) but I don’t really see anything in there. Anyone got any suggestions?

    Thanks

Why not just ask a few HR departments directly of financial companies you would like to work for and explain your situation in a cover letter/cv once you've spoken to them over the phone maybe?

Failing the careers guidance people are good or you could try a few decent recruitment companies. recruitment agencies are going to fit you to a job they allready have and want to fill, you might be better going to some companies directly and sending your cv after a phone call to explain what you're looking for.

For a job on the road? How about a Taxi Driver? :D

If that's not for you, have you not thought about starting up your own consultancy business using your contacts in the industry?

I actually did consider taxi driving believe it or not!! I just think it'd be a waste of the career I've built up, and I do enjoy the work, just hate the confines of the office. Thanks for the advice though, trying to figure out where I could go directly....
