    Hey,
Not the best when it comes to techy stuff...

My housemate got a PS3 this week and I was wondering:
Can these PS1 downloads be gotten in Ireland?
How do I get them from the PS3 to my PSP? do I need extra wires or anything?
For only a fiver they seem worth it - but are the games good when played through the PSP?
    What games would people recommend?

Sorry if this has been asked before - I looked back a few pages and saw nothing!

The games available on the PSN are very poor at the moment with the exception of G-Police. Not sure how you get them on the PSP but not worth it.

If you have a custom firmware on your PSP it's very easy to play your own PS1 games on the PSP. Google or search these forums for how to do it.

Sony launched PC to PSP portal last week doing away with need for PS3 to purchase PS1 games.

You should go to console mod section and look into downgrading the firmware on your psp....

    or go to afterdawn...

Sony's site is pathetic and very expensive....

I have put final fantasy 7,8 all the resident evils, metal gear solid, gran turismo 2 and many others onto my psp....

    Its very easy..

Theres nothing quite like resident evil on the bus :D

What happens when you have to change disc?

Most PS1 games make you save before you switch discs so they work with no problems on PSP. Metal Gear Solid is an exception but a workaround is possible using program called CWCHEAT.

There's only a small minority of games were you have to change disc so it's fine. Have Einhander, G-Darius and R-type Delta on my PSP. Shmup heaven :)
