    Go for vista home premium 32bit (64 bit will only give you problems). Vista mce (its in the home premium version) is great and theres a good few plugins out and on the way for movies and tv shows.


    That card is only useful for digital terrestial which is only on trial on the east north east coast of Ireland at the moment. Others will know better, but its probably not the card to get at the moment.


    You could probably build one with the same case and with a blu ray burner/hd-dvd combo drive for cheaper than that htpc costs altogether.

    Combo Blu ray burners /HD DVD drives are on price freefall at the moment , so Id build the system and wait a couple of months before adding the drive , those drives were over a thousand a couple of months ago and I would expect them to be a lot cheaper again in a couple of months.
