Have a sky dish with the freeview box in the living room. Could I buy another box and split the cable to get two boxes working or do I have to buy a second lnb?

You need a wire from the lnb for each box as it sends a currrent up each wire so can't split.
2 options: Buy a quad lnb from satellite.ie for only 35-40, replace it on your dish and you can bring in 4 wires (allows you to move the box)
or have a video sender from your current box to other tvs, only thing is its the same channels. Of rf out to another tv, same issue with same channel

A Freeview box won't work with a satellite dish and LNB. It needs an aerial (and obviously you have to be near a Freeview TV transmitter).

As "TheDriver" says, you'll need an LNB with more than one output (and also satellite TV receivers.)

Think the fact he has it working currently means he has a FTA box but calling it incorrectly Freeview

I have the Sat. signal running into a 4-way amp and then off to four rooms. As was said however, you have the same channel on all. You can have a remote in each room if you want.

Does anyone know if there are any good websites that have diagrams and ideas for wiring your house for satellite and terrestrial and possibly sound without going the professional route.
