    Hi im new to this board,Im just wondering has anybody done the interview for the garda recruitment.I heard it can be tough enough with a few trick questions,My cousin is a Guard and he told me a few question that could be asked like.What the difference between working in a Garda station in Dublin and workin a one man station?? I suppose u would have more responibility in working in one man station as you would have to make all the decisions by yourself!!! and another what would you do if you stopped someone for speeding for going 5mph over the limit and she told you there was family emergency and needed to get home what would you do??? I supoose you would escort her home or give her a caution,and another what would you do if you caught your brother drink driving what would you do?? Arrest him, -Has anybody else answered any other tricky questions like these that could help me be prepard for my interview thanks:)

    This thread in work and jobs would be a more appropriate spot to post the query. The Garda reserve are volunteers, the Gardai are full time professionals and as this is the volunteerism forum work and jobs is the place to go with the query.
    I'll move the double thread to that forum.
