    Unlikely.

    LNB & cable will have no effect.

    65cm may be too small for some stations and you may have a high BER. Can you check the QUALITY (not signal level which is fairly meaningless) on the Bubbly channels?

    Berlin Jazz and Dutch pop Stations sound fine here.

    my signal quality is 77% which i reckon is more then ok but perhaps im wrong its jus mainly when i listen with headphones that i can hear it, my box is telling me 100% but i know thats rubbish the meter tells me 77%

    Maybe it's just that they're heavily compressed? They might be broadcasting at 'good enough' quality?

    Are all radio channels as bad or just some?

    If you give some examples, we could compare.

    Each station will have a different Quality reading.

    You have a professional meter that measures BER, not just Signal Level?

    100% quality on all stations is not possible on 65cm dish from 19.2E in Ireland. I doubt many even 77% Quality.

    Once a digital signal has reached a certain threshold, any further increases in signal strength will make no improvement to the quality of video or audio.

    The problem is not at your end, but at the broadcasters end. Some of the stations are transmitted at lower bitrates. Fun radio and Contact Fm are on the same transponder, so the reception signal strength/quality is the same, but they are transmitted at different bitrates , nominally 192 kbps vs 128kbps.

    128k MP1 stereo = terrible, same as DAB 128k, not MP3 128K
    256k = great
    192k = bearable
