What next? Those Cork V Meath classics of the late 80s? The all Ulster final between Armagh and Tyrone?
I guess you can make a TV programme about anything these days.

They were some dirty bunch though! Punches in the face, kicks in the head, pure thugs! :p

I watched that game a while back, hadn't really seen it years, and couldn't believe how Galway lost it.

The game itself was a disgrace, but what I did like hearing about was how the players settled things after - Mullins and Talty, both stubborn and strong willed men but having Holden and Joyce (or was it Tierney) as the policemen to make sure the peace talks went ok I thought was gas.
The crush on the hill looked like a Hillsborough just waiting to happen.
It also goes to show how poor the disciplinary system has become compared to what it was then. The Heffernan suspension aside the GAA's justice was swift and lengthy bans were handed out. When you think the Omagh 8 got away scot free it and players getting off suspensions because their name wasn't noted in Irish it really shows how bad things have got.
Wish we could have got the full low down on what happened in the tunnell

The Dublin & Tyrone players got off on the technicality that the people who adjudicated on the video evidence were asked by John Costello to come in to the hearing and comment on a particular, naively the did, and as a result the video evidence became insubmissable.
