    Hi there,

Has anyone got these dvd's out of Tesco at anytime as my brother got these as a replacement as i usually get them in the north for E15 (spindle 50 - Datawrite) but fell short & my brother got these for me instead.

As i can wait a few days, probably til w/end again!

But want to ask has anyone had any problems with these, before opening them?

    Thanks for any advice received.

Cheers for that, as i found out this on the page:
    Burning reliability is Good.
    PC reliability is Good.
    DVD reliability is Good.
    Media color is Orange.
Media text is HP DVD+R 16X.
Media package type is Cake Box. Number of discs 50.
    Media made in Taiwan.
    Media UPC/EAN code is 637668020400.
    Authoring/Burning comments:
    Burned w/ Nero Express 7

Im very familiar with CMC's or as theyre usually known Crap More Crap! as i've come to known them & came across those a lot

But i thought i'd better safe than sorry in finding this before opening the pack!

Is the reliability to do with the burner(s) or the discs?

Also Is it the case that the + disks are better than the - disks?

PS. Has anyone noticed with discs & why Nero changes/locks the burn speed from 2-4x & Datasafe discs burnin at 12x when the discs are 8x, as its something i've come across when you get different discs as you try and keep to the same discs all the time!

    Thanks.

The problems people had with CMCs in the past were that burners were muck at burning them, but once you keep your firmware up to date you should have no issiues, I always burn CMC Mag discs, and even ones burnt 3 years ago work perfect, LiteONS seem to have serious issiues with CMC discs I've found hence why they get a bad name, I have a 4 year old NEC burner in here now and still burns em great :)
Also the -R CMC Mags I read are totally rubbish but any +R ones are quite good! If the burn speed is being locked try updating your drives firmware as it could indicate the drive doesnt know the media
