There you have it folks, a Magnum P.I. film in the works! William H. Macy as Higgins has me intruiged, and Matthew McConaughey ain't bad at all.

When I heard of this, I was afraid it was going to be a terrible "Ben Stiller in fake mustache" pastiche of the show. Could still be quite awful, but at least Ben Stiller isn't involved.

*flashbacks of small shorts and Hawaiian shirts* I am a bit scared of this one but William H. Macy as Higgy could work well.
