Unfortunately no, its not a faulty disc. Em there is some things you can do to limit the damage, like play in sporting lisbons stadium (i think its the 4th one) I haven't touched pro in well over a month. USELESS

EDIT: Well actually i think its pretty good bar the slowdown, but the slowdown kills it for me. I'll be getting the Pc version over christmas

PS3 patch released. Suppposedly fixes much of the offline slowdown and fixes the lag and teleporting in online matches.

At a quick look, it does seem much better, offline, anyway.

It is unfortunate about the slowdown because the game plays well, although it is very easy, on the PS3 anyway

No, I have both , and always buy both (dont know why), but fifa is still inferior to Pes.

The graphics engine of this game is too advanced for the ps3, should have got a xbox 360.

there seems to be problems on the other platforms too. add to the fact that its worse/better depending on weather or pitches, would seem to point to a problem with the code rather than the console.

Ya, only joking. I'm a wii owner what do I know. :)

Tried it out last night. Offline is better, but is better on some pitches, rather than others. Offline can be ok, and then it goes jumping all over the place again. I think I'll have to try FIFA.
