Mine's "good" at 70% according to this test.

I think more experienced musicians (can I call myself a musician yet?!) will get far better results though. :)

It's not really a memory test. The sequences are too short to test your memory but there is a flaw in this test. Some of the sequences were not very musical. It makes more difficult to take it in. Most of them were very easy to take in play in your head to compare the 2nd piece but 1 or 2 had a lot of random notes and I remember not being able to play the beginning or end accurately in my head.

I'd be interested to know what the incorrect ones were. It doesn't do that to prevent cheating. I won't be surprised if the incorrect ones were the ones with random notes.

I wouldn't this seriously as there are much harder tests like Absolute/Perfect Pitch tests or Relative Pitch tests like picking out a C,D etc when you hear it or hearing an interval (distance between notes) like a perfect 5th from any key, forward or backward.

    Look at these clips.........

A good demo but not entirely accurate in explanation

    Scroll to 24.58

The first test is for perfect pitch.
From 25.42 is the test for intervals
This is episode 1 of a documentary callled "my brilliant brain". You can find it wherever you can find "heroes or prison break":p

    This is amazing

    scroll to 2.56

He can duplicate up the ten notes at a time.
