nicotine sensitivity

i've smoked roughly since i was about 8 years old, and i'm sixteen now so that's going on about eight years. i've always had a very strange reaction to nicotine, in that if i have even a puff of a cigarette i will get an instant sort of "head rush" thing to the point where i cannot even smoke cigarettes standing up (as i will usually stumble and fall over). this lasts roughly about 20 minutes after i've taken even the slightest puff. there's even been instances where i will 'wake up' and i will be passed out on my balcony. is there any reason why this is happening? (this has always happened, and i've never been able to find an answer as to why, or rather, i never really looked save for google which sucks)

Are you smoking Benson and Hedges or something else strong like that? Even Marlborough reds? Same thing happens to me and I've been smoking at least twenty a day for three years. I went down to Marlborough lights and it stopped. That being said it could be an indicator of something more serious so you really should go and see your GP rather than doing a search on the internet about it.
