    i've barricaded all i can
    (broke the lock with his goddamned bare hands)
    protected land i guess i can't
    do it forever
    and pretty soon he'll come in again
    (i guess i can't do it forever)

    Well done :) Love the way the words play off each other and how dark it is. There is something so enticing about dark words, yours are wonderful. I can see it must have a personal meaning. We are always able to write best about things that touch us deeply.

    Hope your life isn't as dark as the words you've written though!
