Wrong Turn 2 - My fave horror movie of the year

    I've seen quite a lot of Fright movies this year, Rob Zombie's Halloween, Timber Falls, Vacancy, Hills Have Eyes 2 etc but the best one for me was Wrong Turn 2, and it caught me completely by surprise.
    Basically there's a "Survivor" or "I'm a Celebrity, get me out of here" style thing going on deep in the rural American woods, and it's hosted by none other than Henry Rollins!
    Anyway of course there's a family of crazed, inbred Redneck Mutants living nearby, and what follows is absolute carnage - It really is a wonderful bloodbath.
    Besides that, the movie is full fo twists and turns and you really won't know who's gonna die next etc.

    Not sure if this is out in Ireland on DVD yet, but if you can track down a copy do so by all means.

    Gory as hell in spots, I'll give it that, the opening scene on the road was great. Though a pretty poor movie overall, I thought. Hated the characters. Though hardly worse then the first one..
