Printer offline

    Hi

    I have an HP PSC 1410 printer which I'm using with Vista. It had been working fine but it is giving problems now. Nothing will print. When I go into control panel, printers, it says that it is offline. I right click and go into the drop down menu thinking it will give me the option to run it online. However I only get the option to use printer offline (even tho it is already offline). I have tried this only for the printer to go "Offline- Offline", then I try to use printer online but it only goes back to the initial status again.

    I have tried powering off and on, a different usb port, installing a copy of the printer etc but to no avail.

    When I try to print something it only shows "1 document in queue" and nothing under "status"

    Anyone have any ideas how to resolve?

    problem solved - just downloaded the latest updates
