Can anyone tell me it a DS Lite bought in the USA will work ok here and if games bought here would be ok on it. I think the only problem is the charging unit but maybe someone out there has experience in this matter. Thanks

The DS is region free, so US, EU and Jap games will all work on it.
You'll need to buy a EU charger, available in any games shop.
