Leaky Plumbing

    Hi All,

I recently put in a sealed heating system in my house. This involved ripping up all the floors putting in pipes and then putting down new floors. Recently I have noticed that the water pressure in the system drops slightly over time, most likely due to a small leak somewhere. Ripping up all the floor boards to find the leak would be very expensive and I was wondering if anyone knows of a something I could add to the water that would seal the leak from the inside. I was thinking of something like radweld that can be used to seal leaks in car radiators.

    Thanks in Advance
    Dave

There's anti corrosion additives and I think most seal very small leaks too , Oxypic is one brand ,you'd probably have to go to plumbing supply store for it though

DJD - I assume you don't mean underfloor heating - you have radiators in all rooms, yes?
If yes, then drop into a specialist plumbing shop and get system sealant specific for the job - similar to Radweld but in a larger quantity!
