Just a quick question , if I bought a Nintendo D.S back from the states would I have any problems using the games over here or would everything be ok ?

It will be fine.

Back when they first launched i bought one in from the states. It works perfect because all the games are region free. The only thing i did was buy an extra charger from game because the american plug with adapter annoys me!
