    Thanks for that Victor!
No real changes on the Dublin - Dundalk - Dublin route for me.

Yeh. much promised..... nothing delivered....same old same old...
How they cannot put on some extra services in the evening (i.e. 7pm-1am), or at weekends is beyond me. The massive gaps make the service unattractive to most, and therefore few use them.

And a new evening service to Athy and Carlow, too!

Great new service home to Carlow! Hopefully this will relieve the 16.25 and 18.25 and give breathing space!

I'm referring to a commuter service between nenagh and limerick via castleconnell.

well i know somebody who does actually commute from Limerick to Dublin City Centre Mon-Fri. she gets the first train out of Limerick (05:35am) each morning.

so yeah....seriously....some people do commute from Limerick to Dublin everyday.

I have to say from one laois person to another I detected a hint of smartness in your post. It was a genuine question because unless it is an amazing job, I dont see why anyone would inflict a 14+ hour day on themselves.

no not smartness simply replying with a "serious" answer. you asked a question, you received an answer :p
