Hi, Is it possible to source a second hand Sky satellite receiver in Ireland? and use it like the Lidl receiver i.e. no monthly charge. And with this system can I get Channell 4? Thanks

Yeah you can buy second hand digiboxes. Check out the buy and sell. For Channel 4 you will need to get a FTV card which will also give you FIVE.

I got a secondhand Digibox just a couple of days ago for free by posting a wanted ad on jumbletown.ie. I got a reply within a week, probably just by pure luck. Still, worth a shot.
