    Hi,

I have an Irish Toyota Camry Petrol 2.2Auto with 76000. Very Clean and never lets me down. Im just running an idea of changing my Petrol engine for a Diesel Engine? Maybe a cheap crashed import 2.2 diesel engine

Any idea of what will work Avensis 2.00 Auto D4D maybe?

    Any help would be great
    MK

Might be just as cheap to sell your existing car and buy a Jap import auto diesel Camry.

You may need to buy a different gear box too I think.

I've seen a Jap import Camry auto that took an Avensis 2.0 TD engine and manual box no problem. Bad idea unless your engine's knackered though.
