I saw it, I wonder when the December issue is out. I get mine in Easons on O`Connell Street, used to be able to get it a lot closer to home!.

I saw it in my local village..

The Scalp petrol station might get it in if you live near there. I havent been in that place in ages since I dont have horses to feed.

    Why?

Perhaps I should clarify that I meant I didnt know that they could be 'able jumpers'.

Jumping is one thing... but going around a cross country course is a different matter.

Ok ok, sorry I read that as meaning you thought they couldnt jump at all :(

Maybe the extra sure footedness they have over horses helps them? It's pretty cool all the same, I've seen photos of goats pulling carts too!!! Very cute.

Somehow I've only just seen this thread! - they can definitely jump - a guy had one that he hunts with the Essex and it really can jump but strong.. lordy... it can seriously tank.. The guy does that historical re-enactment thing etc with it too.. he also has a Tenesee Walking Horse that he hunts (it doesn't jump) but he turns out in costume from the american civil war times.. looks amazing.. the horse even has the historically correct tack etc which he had made.. is a sight to behold!

    Hi All,

Oh i woulda loving to see that photo, Thats brill, go on the mules, I was reading in the Horse and Hound ages back and on the back page there is always a tribute or a historical event etc, anyway he was this man who hunted a bull, 2 - 3 days a week he would actually hunt this bull, he had a bridle made for him and a saddle, and it was as good as any other horse out there he said,
So id actually not thinking the mule at the x-country is a surprise, :D
