    Hi,
What's the craic with leaving a car overnight at the red cow park and ride - is it fairly safe?
Would i get a space ok? Be there about 5pm midweek.

    Ta.

    I wouldn't if I were you.
I don't mind using it during the daytime but overnight is asking for trouble.
There is often evidence of smashed windows on the ground. Theft or just vandalism, who knows, but not good either way.

In Cavan there was a great fire / Judge McCarthy was sent to inquire / It would be a shame / If the nuns were to blame / So it had to be caused by a wire.

Living right beside the stop, I wouldn't see much trouble in leaving a car there. If you can get a space at 5pm.

No reason for anyone to be there and it's so far out of the way of everywhere, open to the elements and overlooked by the sufficiently busy N7, it's unlikely to have an accidental/opportunist vandal there.

No reason for anyone to be there is the problem - no reason for anyone except scumbags and little chance of said scumbags being disturbed.

The idea of anyone on the N7 being able to see, give a damn, or do anything about goings-on in the car park is just ridiculous.

With all the roadworks going on, on one would take their eyes off the road for more than a second!

Not sure why you may want to leave the car overnight I certainly wouldn't use it but if I had to I'd consider leaving mine in Balally P&R on the other line, the line stops at St. Stephen's Green which is fairly central to other transport links.
