Problems with NTL's DVR - Help!!

    Hey All,

I got NTL's DVR a few weeks ago, on the whole I think its great, very handy, easy enough to use. There are definitely a few faults with it though!

One problem that is driving me crazy is: in place of a series button I went into the preset recordings bit and set up a programme to record Monday to Fridays at the time its on.

My first problem with this was that when I went into My Programmes it doesn't name it, it just comes up with the channel and the time, which is fine if you can just remember/figure it out, but I decided to just manually record that programme so that the name of it is on the list in My Programmes.

This has thrown up a big Conflict, as it is now clashing with my preset recording - my problem is I can't seem to delete this preset recording, is this just going to record forever!! There is no section that allows you to view your preset recordings! This is driving me around the bend as it comes up as a conflict everyday!!

Can anyone help me with this??

there is a screen where you can see your recordings. It's called my memo's or something(Can check it later, its on same screen where you can set advanced memo's). Just go in there change the recording to a once off recording and I think you then press STOP to delete(instructions are on the screen).

Cheers Wonderboy, but I can't for the life of me find that screen, I've trawled through it all!! Any help muchly appreciated!!

...actually, I just had another look, in the Agenda screen, if a memo that I have is there I can go into it, there seems to be a fault here though, I can't seem to delete the memo. I think actually what I mean is I can go into conflicts, but I can't delete the entire memo, just that one occasion.

I dunno, seems to me lots wrong with my one, so many faults!! Is it the Agenda screen that you mean where you can see your memos?? Cause I can't see a screen that shows all my memos on there own, if you know what I mean!

I hope this isn't too confusingly put!!!

sorry it is the agenda screen. Choose the one you want to delete and press the STOP button. Then press stop again to delete all occurences of the memo.
