Actually we don't really know for certain yet. The R1 isn't out till next month and there have been some subtle differences in the past, a few extras, different boxset, etc. I don't expect anything major though.

Personally I'm waiting for the R1 as I already have the R1 of the first two seasons. Plus I'm too used to watching the show in NTSC and find the PAL speed-up very noticeable in the RTE broadcasts.

    Hi
    I got the region 1.

Funnily enough it plays on my Region 2 dvd player.
Unfunnilly, there is 8 disks but no bonus disk.

No, it definately says r1 on the back of it.
Its the one with the cover where all the faces of the characters are on it.
    Maybe its a fraud.
Cost me 40E. No bonus disk and know extras such as where the actors talk about particular episodes.
In the end got a copy from ebay with everything on it including bonus features etc for 10.00 so total spend 50.00.
    Wont do this next time:(

Sounds like you might have a fake alright. Is there commentaries on the discs?

There are only 7 discs in the official set, including the bonus disc. 4 episodes per disc.

My R1 season 3 arrived this morning from DVD Pacific, cost about 37 euro including shipping. Only took about 8 days to come. Looking forward to checking out all the extras tonight. :D
