The family have booked a cottage in Clifden during next summer, sorry I mean during the months of April, June, July.

Anything to do there, any walks nearby, that doesn't involve getting in the car first?

    Thanks

It's a quiet little town/village. There is things to do though. You can try Pony Tracking, Golf and Fishing for a start. If I think of other activities I'll add them :)

I enjoyed my break over there, the roads or poor though.

They have an amazing fjyord(sp) in killary harbour which is just a few miles away. You can also do scuba diving excurisons. and visit the pub that was in the field. This for me is the most beautiful part of ireland!

you'll enjoy it, Hope you get the weather
