looks a bit big. i'm really looking for something smaller which can be thrown in a bag or fit on the front seat of the car. i read a report somewhere that this unit (c5) was good 4 photography but i'm just cocerned about the type of connection from the SLR (DSLR) to the scope because as of late i've seen a plastic holder which clamps around the eye peice(spotting scope) and the camera is secured on to this peice of plastic, this is not the type i'm interested in.. i'd like to know if the spotting scope eye peice is removable and then if it might be possible to insert an adaptor into the eye piece and then i could attach the SLR.. If this is possible will i still suffer problems with the camera in terms of (f) settings and auto focus, as the camera might think a lens is not fitted or the camera won't fire the shutter because it has no lens from which it receives (settings) info through small mechnical feelers around the lenses mounting ring...

Yeah, i just tried it there now, I've got a fairly bottom-end scope one of these and an Olympus E300, and i finally got round to getting the adator to connect the two, and these are the results:

They're not particularly brilliant, they're not as sharp as i'd like, but i'm not sure what the problem is.

had a look at those the sporting scope prob not bad at least at that price it the type of optics that wont cause worry for fear of loss or damage when out and i already got a polish mate to get a pair of what i thought might be cheap field glasses they were made by Bresser and to be honest they're not too bad at all
