i have 2 PSPs, one with a broken screen and i might have the opportunity to trade one for a PS3 (no way im telling anyone off who or where).

so i need to fix the screen on the broken one. ive seen them on ebay and i guess ill order one but how DIYable is it replacing the screen?? or does anyone around dublin do it for a reasonable price?

Search online for guides about doing installing a screen, decide if your up to it,if not I think theres a few Irish places that fix psps, saw them mentioned on boards a few times.Maybe other posters could help?

I repaired my brothers one before. Power pin broke and had to replace it. There pretty easy to repair just be careful with those damn screws!!

Broke the threads on two of them and ended up ripping the cover off it. Had to buy a new cover then!! :p

Works okay now tho. But it switches off randomly. I think one of the power ribbons is loose. But i tried to open it up again and broke the fcekin threads again and i'm not ripping the cover again and buying another cover!! :D

Best of luck. Just make sure ur psp works properly before tightening those screws again.
