Is there a guitar society?? Like for players who love their guitar music? I am into all kinds of guitar, from players like Satriani to Shawn Lane. I'd love to meet some other like minded players to jam with.

DURNS meetings are every Monday from 6pm, and you can wander up, there's always a few heads around, myself included. Bass lessons can be arranged, though to be honest, I'd always advise getting professional lessons, especially if it's your first instrument.
