EB driving test B license

    My brother just got notification of his driving test in two weeks for category EB.
    His provisional license is for category B. He wants a full B license.

    Can he still do the B test on the day even though the letter states EB? I know "You must produce your current Irish provisional license/learner permit for your test category."

    Any advice appreciated!!

    rang the driving test office and they are issuing a new letter for B.
    Driving test same time same place. :)
