Ive heard a rummor from Two fairly reliable people that Alister Cragg will run on Sunday.
They told me that he was 99% certain of running.

This is interesting. I hope he does run once he runs in the Euro X.

I'm heading down on Sunday, so I'll be able to confirm on Monday. :p

Should be a good race. I've heard that SOS is running! Is this true? The men's junior race should be interesting, too. Will the ffrench-O'Carroll twins be in the senior or junior women's race?

Hmmm. Back to McDonagh Barracks for the first time in years!

An update on this one!! I know mad time in the Morning.

A pal of mine said he saw Alister running in Santry Demense this afternoon!

Surprised Clonliffe bring him over for Inter-Counties and not inter-club!

French-O'Carroll's will be in the Junior race. Was a good idea to run them in the Dublin senior as they have no competition in Dublin Junior. Also a good point made to me after Dublin Championship...The two girls will still be Juniors when the Euro X comes to Dublin in 2009!!

Heading over to Euro X - Might be watching an Irish man win it!

With Mo Farah now out, chances that another African ex-pat might win it: our one. :D

The twins will be joined by Suzanne Huet to form the nucleus of a very strong junior women's team for the next 2 years!

I agree, we've a great in strength in depth in the middle distance and XC junior category. It's great to see.

    Controversial, SlowCoach, very controversial! :D

As for Sonia, I'm nearly sure she said in an interview that she wanted to try and qualify for the Euro XC this year as her last time in an Irish vest (how many times have we heard that before!Long live Sonia!). She'll have tough competition. I'm not sure how many qualify/go to Toro, but there's Britton, Cullen, Deirdre Byrne, Linda Byrne, Galligan, ands McCambridge to battle with. I'm not sure if McGettigan or Cullen are competing, are they?

Cullen and McGettigan ran the Manchester Thanksgiving Road Race yesterday. Cullen was 2nd lady home, McGettigan 10th.

Martin Fagan also ran, he was 2nd male home, beating last years winner.

Report and video here. Going by Fagan's comments it doesn't look like he'll be running the Euro XC...

it will be good seeing cragg run on his native home soil haha only messing ah with rumours flying of who running or not running either way has the prospect of being great day race wise.
Junior mens should also make for good spectacle with O Neill in super shape and fresh off the victory in Tillburg

Read on another forum that he's training for a marathon in January, so it looks like he'll skip the XC.
