Not sure if this isright or just me being a cod virgin. But i played multiplayer the other nite and my crosshair and hud were there. Installed the new patch today and they were gone, This supposed to happen? Where can i check my hud settings?

You probably played on a hardcore server after you patched. Hardcore servers don't show most hud details - crosshair, ammo count, map (unless a friendly UAV is in the sky) etc.

Hate Hardcore mode, so annoying, there should be a little icon on the server list telling you if it's hardcore.

hardcore mode is great!
but i agree, servers should show that theyre hardcore, so i can find them easier.

Hardcore is much better, at least there's a small amount of teamwork.

We switched our server from 24 player normal server to 18 player hardcore and the result is a far more tactical experience.

Hardcore is the best mode by far. It pays then to take your time as if yer hit yer dead. What annoys me is when you have played on a hardcore and then switch to normal you hit guys and start to peel away expecting them to be down, but alas the basts still live and then kill you.

find it very spammy myself to easy to kill people at least in normal mode you have to put a few bullets into people to put them down where as in hardcore one flukey shot to anywhere on the body will put someone down. will still play it like but dont think its as good as normal imo.

hardcore owns. much more realistic and requires teamwork..particularly thos of you that play in matches..

I love realism and really enjoy hardcore mode but it seems its who ever sees who first wins the shootout in HC mode.
Id play it in either mode tbh.

If you like tactical realism you should also checkout Red orchestra and Insurgency.

i played a hardcore game, did well enough, then went back to play a rng ff off server and got 74 kills and the nearest lad was 24, would post a screeny but not sure if I'm allowed cause the server name is there.
