If you were advertising a DIY livery space.. where would be the best place to do it ?

I suppose another way of asking this question is where would you look if you were looking for a DIY livery space ?

The Field ? Local Papers ? Tack shops etc ?

    Thanks

    Bx :)

Do you want to rent one out or find one?

Would recommend the tack shops/word of mouth.

Enough of the text speak - it is very annoying for other readers.

OP, I presume that you are not trying to pimp your livery yard, because that would be in breech of the charter! ;)

However, if you were looking for a livery yard, then local equestrian centres, local papers, Irish Field etc might be places to start..

 .. No..no pimping I promise! Sorry if seemed like that.. :o

Explaination needed.. we are moving in the New Year hopefully and will have our horses at home.. OH suggested having a livery (just the one) as company for me - someone for me to ride with etc etc.. also as I plan to have a youngster to bring on a good "roadwork buddy" would be especially useful to have.. not even neccessarily needing a livery tbh.. even someone who would maybe come and ride my current horse with me as he is a fantastic nanny for babies.. (only thing is although he is super safe in traffic etc he is a sharp as they come so they need to be sensitive competent riders..)

Just was wondering where would be the best place to advertise for either as new to irish horseyness .. so I promise no pimping! Haven't even got a stable to pimp as yet!!

Thanks for the advice though guys - any web links etc would be handy.. will def put some notices up in tack/feed shops and (depending on cost!) in TheField..

    Bx

You could try Irishhorsetrader.com in the wanted section. Its free, theres a pm system if you want it, and there seems to a good volume of traffic going through it

ZARABA, does me using the letter "U" twice bother you so much? you used OP instead of spelling the whole words but you dont see me complaining.

Text speak is forbidden on the forum as it is confusing to some readers especially those unfamiliar with it. The letter 'u' counts as text speak, whereas the abbreviation OP meaning 'original poster' is a well established forum abbreviation.
